American conservatives seem to have this idea that if someone is not contributing to society, then they should not expect any support from society, that if they do not have a job, and therefore, health insurance, then there’s nothing wrong with letting them die of their terminal illness because they can’t afford treatment. Yet, most Conservatives in America are Christian. And we, as Christians, are taught to love one another, feed the hungry and clothe the naked without exception and without condition. That doesn’t sound like Republicans at all..boy, that is an interesting contradiction, isn’t it?
What have we done to you that we are so hated, that so many half truths and whole lies are being spouted in every direction concerning what we believe? Why is it that every fair article about us on the Internet that I’ve seen, pointing out what we really believe or merely having a positive view of us, is attacked mercilessly by hatred? I am a Mormon. And I believe that Jesus Christ is my Saviour, the Son of God. Good day to you, and may God bless you with understanding towards us, your fellow brethren.
